Exclusivity

Because we only host one family/group, you have exclusive use of a double family room to sleep 2 adults and 2 children and another twin bedroom, a Jacuzzi bathroom, slate floored Breakfast room and private Lounge. No other guests, just you.

Babysitting

Martin and Sharon are both qualified Primary teachers with full CRB checks. We are available for babysitting during your stay, most evenings and days with some prior notice. If you wish to enjoy some adult time and the chance to visit the gourmet restaurants or activity attractions in the area, then we would be happy to look after your children during the day or evening.
Our rates for up to 3 children (0-13yrs) are £10 ph.

Guided Visits and Walks

We would be happy to guide you to the local attractions or as far afield as you desire. If time is limited we can help you get around the known and some of the less well known sights, in the most efficient manner. Whilst at the same time, giving you nuggets of local knowledge. Half-day £50 9am-1pm. Please discuss dates, timings and itineraries with Martin a couple of weeks before your arrival.

We can provide you with a hot evening meal.
Our typical dinner will be a generous serving

of Fresh Pasta Prima Donna Penne Rigate,
Homemade Family recipe Bolognese sauce,
Freshly grated Parmesan , Bread basket,

Nibbles, Cornish Ice Cream. Please feel free to

bring your own wine or other drinks.

Cornish Cream Teas

Efflins has become famous for Cornish cream teas. Two tasty scones, local clotted cream and home-made jam, served with a choice of teas either in the garden or library. We also specialise in extra thick hot chocolate with cream on top, just like in the Alps.
